                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF
                   CONTRACT NO. SS-1-93, DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE -
                   MARKET STREET AND SECOND STREET EXTENSIONS,
                   TO RIVERBEND CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION, FOR
                   THEIR LOW BID IN THE AMOUNT OF FIFTY-TWO
                   THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY-ONE AND
                   20/100 DOLLARS ($52,771.20).
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       award of Contract No. SS-1-93, Downtown Streetscape - Market
       Street and Second Street Extensions, to Riverbend Construction
       Corporation, for their low bid in the amount of $52,771.20.
